feeding when they are only a few days old?

Should we keep their food in the brooder all the time when they are only small babies or should we take it out at a certain time so they don't overfeed?

I always leave food available to them 100% of the time. I believe it even says to do that on the bag of chick starter I have.

I agree just leave the food inside because ive heard chickens are simple bodied animals so they eat all the time i know mine did.

The chicks will not over feed. No worries.

Yep leave the food all the time.....chicks need all the food they can stick in their growing bodies.

Great thanks! I have been such a worry wort. Yesterday we received the babies and I ended up waking up about every hour on the hour to run and check them!
