Feeding worms

I was working in the yard and digging up quite a few worms. My hens are in a coop, so I decided to give them a treat. Is this bad? There seems to be a lot of watery poo going on today.

No, it is not bad. I do it often-a fresh piece of sod-roots, leaves, stems, dirt, worms, insects is a favored treat. Be careful of herbicides/pesticides.
