feeding

I have six 3-5 weekers....they are on turkey/game starter crumble. I have it in a small chick feeder. My questions are will they overeat? How much should they be eating? They made short work of it, I have already refilled it today! I offered up some crumbled up hard boiled egg...they didn't seem that interested...

I have feed available 24/7. There is never a time when feed is not there for them to eat. I don't think that they will overeat. When mine are full, they stop eating. I have a 50lb bag of Purina Game Bird Startena 30% that is just for them (24 keets). As their 3 gallon feeder gets low, I fill it back up.

Oh yea, sounds like you're good to go. They are growing babies, so they will eat like crazy. And you can surely expect them to go through a lot of feed. Good luck with your keets. Post pics if you can. Would love to see them.

I probably wouldn't have noticed but I'm out there ALL the time..I'm totally in love! I would love to post pics...but I'm still a newbie to BYC, all in good time!
