You can usually figure around .25 lbs a day, a little more in colder weather, and a little less in hot weather. So for four birds, figure about one pound per day.

You might still come up a little short. They can squeak by on that much in a month, but if you feed too much other stuff or try to stretch that feed too far their egg production may drop off a bit.

If you're trying to plan your shopping trips to not run out, you'd better plan on that bag lasting about three weeks.

i am worryed on more on how often i ahve to go get the food the feed stores not close so you think 3 weeks is safe will a 50 pound bag last 6 weeks
