I noticed she was making a nest about a week ago. And her eggs are not fertile. I kept taking the eggs out and replaced them with a couple of golf balls which are bigger then her own eggs. And sure enough she went broody. I feel so bad for her to have to sit that long and end up chickless. I was hopeing my silky duck would lay a few eggs i could of given her but no such luck. If i take the golf balls away will she give up, i've never had to a broody before.

She may stay broody even without golf balls. Can you not find her some nice fertile eggs to hatch out? She will be cute with the babies.
