Female dove bow cooing

My female dove has just recently begun to bow coo. She has a mate, but she never does this around her. She only starts doing this when I'm playing with her and she gets excited. Is this a sign of dominance? I've had her for 4 years and she just started doing this

More likely the hen sees you as a possible replacement for a mate that isn't wanted-poor guy.

my female is the same way with me except she has no mate but i can get her to come on command most of the time by cooing at her
