female quail can't stand on her legs

I am working with this same problem. I found this 4 week old laying on his side about 10 am. He could not stand. I held him a bit then cut down a narrow (3”) cardboard box. It seems like he had good leg strength, but was weak in the neck. I started feeding and watering him pretty quickly. Just left him supported in the box or supported him with my hands. It’s been about 6 hours or so and he is able to stand up and walk a few minutes before falling over, but he gets himself back up then has to rest. I did use a heat lamp some and put apple cider vinegar in his water. I started him in some tallish weeds a while ago and now he’s just in grass. He’ll recover fine.
