Fencing and Energizers

Group,

Any of you use the portable electric net fencing from Premier Fencing Supplies? I am looking to purchase 164' section of this fencing and also looking at a 12v battery energizer with solar recharger, do any of you have experience with these?

Now for why... We live in a rural area known for Coyotes and other four legged predators. If I can see them my .22 will take them out, however if I can't see them I want them to be shocked when they get too close to my chicks!!

A search of this forum will find many favorable reports in other threads

I have some of it myself, but have not actually used it yet (this summer for sure). I =LOVE= Premier's other electric fence products though, they are very very good quality.

Be aware you'll have to move it slightly on a regular basis to mow underneath, and may have to tie back the corners to additional step-in posts or whatever to strengthen them against wind.

We bought some earlier this spring, from KenCove near Pittsburgh PA. Haven't installed yet, but the stuff sells so fast they have a hard time keeping it in stock, so it must work for somebody. We should have ours up by the first of June.
