Fencing in a 10x20ish run. Need suggestions please.

Step one: find out what a conduit bender is. Step two: find out what a gravity angle indicator is. Step three: find out how to use them.
:D
Step 4: Buy at least 3 extra sticks of conduit for the learning curve.
Google will take care of the first 3 steps.

Aart,
How well did this hold up to heavy wet snow ?
I am just wondering if it would be easier (and stronger) to use elbows instead of Bending the pipes?
I am also thinking if this would be better then the Dog kennel idea .... hmmm

With the 2x4 mesh roof most snow goes right thru and I shovel a path tossing snow out thru the mesh walls. Wet heavy snow, especially if preceded by freezing rain/ice, will stick and gather, necessitating removal which I do by banging on mesh from inside with snow shovel or using a roof rake from outside. First time that happened the thing sagged greatly but luckily no bends or breaks, now I keep it clear and/or prop a few places if expecting heavy overnight snow. The only roof that will handle wet heavy snow with no maintenance or 'babysitting' would be a solid framed roof with shingles or metal sheathing.

It would be easier but probably not stronger,
the large radius bends are very strong,
fittings would add weak points IMO.
The one piece rafter handles the multiple forces put upon it in this design application(which has nothing to do with conduits intended purpose of protecting wires). Not sure you could even find 'elbows' or fittings for metal conduit,
other than maybe 90's which are not as strong as the angle I used.

Apologies to @Toothpick for hijacking/diverting thread.

No worries! If it's moving conversation along and we are all learning something in the process it's all good!
