Hi! I am new to the chicken world and am need of suggestions. The fence around our backyard is made up of livestock panels. Currently the flock of pullets and cockrels can squeeze through a square on the fence and come into the backyard. This is not a problem for the summer as I want the chickens to eat the bugs in the backyard. However, come fall and winter, our malamutes (very prey driven) will be in back yard almost all day. The dogs can stick their heads through a square on the fence to get at whatever they are after. I am in need of suggestions to keep the dog heads in the fence and the chickens out. Our backyard is about an acre so I have a lot of fence to take care of. Anyone have experience with this or have any suggestions for me? Thank you!!!
