I,am new to this just now reading books on backyard chickens. I have a 1/2 acre lot Fenced in with 6' chain link fence but some 4' fence My Question is if I let them rome Will they stay inside the fence. I,am going to only have 4 to 6 hens.

I converted a 4' high dog pen into a run and they fly right out of it but if you clip their wings they can't.
