What kind of fence is the best to use to keep predators out of the chicken run.

I swear by Premier One poultry net. Even keeps weasels out.

Electrified poultry netting probably best but a strand or two of high tensile wire placed just inches outside a non-electrified fencing material will stop anything except a weasel. The standard fencing slows or stops predator in position where hot-wire will zap it making to predator will not want to challenge the non-electrified component. The high tensile is less expensive.
