Interesting article-I have a visit planned this summer and will add that to my list of things to do and look for. I'm sure my kids will think that is a blast

Unfortunately, about a month ago, there was a TV news story about the proliferation of all types of hawks, especially red shouldered & coopers hawks, in the city. In the article today, someone said that the hawks were taking the smaller chicks as prey. I've spotted several hawks in my backyard, eying my 8 RIR pullets. Their run & coop are pretty secure, but I don't let them free range unless I'm with them.
