Do ferment your grains. Don't accidentally screw the lid on before work

This was what bubbled out after the lid blew off. The mess it left in kitchen was amazing. Took me 45 mins to clean and the wife was none to happy about it on ceiling and walls. Lesson learned, Probably be finding it for weeks.

Count your blessings that the jar did not explode. That has happened to other fermenters! You got a good strong ferment going there!!!

Lol um nope bringing home a 5 gallon bucket from work tonight, Should solve this issue.

Not necessarily. I had a 5G overflow in the garage last week. Thankfully, it was the garage. When I ferment in the house, I've learned the importance of keeping a plastic tub, boot rack or such under the bucket, just in case!
