Fertile Egg or Not?

So today, I candled my one of my 10 day old eggs. It didn't look fertile so I cracked it open. When I cracked it, I saw the little white spot that showed it was fertile. Could my egg have hatched?

At day 10 there should have been obvious veins inside the egg, your egg probably wasn't fertile.
