fertile egg?

I cracked open a 5 day old runner egg and found a large white mass in the yolk. Does that mean it's fertile?

I THINK it is fertile. Just my opinion though. Too bad you can't use a pregnancy test huh?

The white mass doesn't indicate fertility. It is possibly a meat spot (not a big deal, still edible). Look at the link Miss Lydia provided. There is a definite bullseye on a fertile egg.
