fertile eggs

are more than one egg fertilized with just one mating,or does each egg have to be fertilized individually?Im sure this has been asked before

A mating can last up to 2 weeks !!! So all eggs laid for 2ish weeks will/can be fertile !!!

Each mating provides enough sperm for several weeks worth of eggs. God was a genius when he created chickens. The male can die several weeks before fertilized eggs are laid!
