I’m not planning on hatching these they been exposed to temps above 75 degrees for a couple days. Ended up with 8 in about 5 days from 11 hens not too bad for 6 week olds. I’m going to wait to start collecting them when most of the hens are laying regularly. Now on to the egg pics

I’m thinking in these pics there’s only one that’s not fertile

That sucks ok, I have a mini fridge..should I set it to it’s lowest setting and store them in there untill I get enough for incubator which should take about 5-6 days

Hmm cracked one and don’t recall seeing that but then again I wasn’t looking to hard..ok guys I’ll give it a week or so then drop them in incubator

You can google to get an idea but fertile eggs should have a bullseye appearance. So if you don’t plan to incubate those ones you can crack them open to check.

I would wait with collecting eggs to incubate untill they lay 2 weeks constantly.

The first eggs are often not fully developed, neither the shell, nor the yold.
Also you increase fertilization as the roo has the chance to step on all hens. The hens are storing the sperm, so they needn't being stepped every day.
