recenly (about a week ago) our family serama hen "Erma" started to brood on a nest of six little eggs, she is very comitted and only gets off maybe once or twice a day to eat, drink, releave herself and take a pretend dust bath on the carpet floor
, that gives me the oppertunity to candle the eggs and see how they're doing very couple days or so, and I must say it is so awesome to watch the tiny embryos bobbing in the egg and the branching veins, compared to seeing it in a youtube video, making it that much more special.
This will be Ermas second attempt at raising a brood, and I'm confident that she will get the chance to be a mother.
