I honestly do not think it's fertile but I'm hoping someone can tell me what they see.
We lost our cockerel on January 28th so a whole month since he died. I wasn't aware he bred the hen that laid this egg. I know who's been laying this egg so if fertile, I will be collecting to see if anyone can hatch out for me.
I have circled around it

I'm thinking I read that hens can hang on to sperm for 30 days.. so time is running out quickly. I've been holding off at least 30 days before collecting eggs for hatching since changing out roos.. for all that's worth.

People claim 7 to 10 days is max on fertile eggs they also claim refrigerator eggs won't hatch either but I've hatched month old refrigerator eggs so nobody really knows they just go off what they've been told. I'm kinda different I just get eggs put em in a bator wait 5 or 6 days they'll either have veins or not.

I'm honestly surprised that her eggs are fertile at all! She's always been anti-rooster. I'm not really hopeful that any will hatch but I'm going to see if anyone will take them for free to hatch for me since I don't have an incubator or a broody hen.

I had some eggs a while back that showed fertile like that but I didn't have a rooster. I was busy with to many other projects goin on I didn't set any to see if they'd grow but it was pretty weird to see the bullseye with a pen full of golden comet hens.
