since April i have been having great hatches. today was day 20 for my latest hatch. when i checked my eggs i only had five that had quit and 17 hatched. an additional 79 very all blanks. what going on? i have never incubated this late as i stop in September. does fertility slow down that much? or as my son says our males just got tired.

Our fertility is usually great this time of year. It's not too hot and not too cold yet.

It really depends on how much light they are getting per day. The hens can still lay eggs, but the males might not be breeding. I'm getting maybe 4 eggs a day, and only 1 or 2 of them are fertile.
