I switched around roosters in my breeding pen. How long can I expect the eggs to have been fertilized by the other rooster? I want to be on the safe side and not hatching chicks from the rooster I took out of this pen.

I had a Light Brown Leghorn hen that was fertile by a Partridge cochin roo for over a month.

Three weeks is usually safe. You could also keep the pen hens only until all the eggs stop showing fertility and then introduce the new roo, might speed things up since many birds only stay fertile for 7-10 days.

i would wait a month but it can still come out with some signs of the first roo
had that happen even 5 weeks after the roo swtich
