So I have the same thing happening with my wheaten Americana, I have 4 hens 2 are laying. ( wheaten & buff orphington ) my Norwegian Jagerhorn and my Silver laced Barnevelder have not yet started laying. They are 32 weeks old -
My wheaten has laid 4 eggs this week . every egg when I crack open looks fertilized according to Bullseye method ..but my buffs do not - I do not have any roosters and raised them form day olds. I had a male but I rehomed him at least 6mths ago. Is it possible for a hen to have both parts ? I have heard of hens turning into males but very rare - or is the Bullseye an indication of something else ( high protein - minerals or something) I’ll post pics
