Hello, I cracked four eggs this morning and thought they were fertilized. My drake mates with my female and I have been expecting some fertile eggs and I think these might be. Im pretty sure they are all fertile. But I just want to make sure.
Also question about fertile eggs.
If my drake mates with my female today successfully and then let’s say the drake doesn’t mate with her anymore, will the eggs be fertilized just tomorrow or for longer? I can’t find an exact answer for it so might as well ask.

These look fertile as far as I can tell.
The sperm usually lives for up to 14 days so they can be fertile for up to 2 weeks after the first mating.
