Does anyone have designs for a run with plastic/fiberglass panels on hinges? I'm adding on to my run and it would be nice to have a retractable solid roof/sides.

Me too. I don't have solid sides, but have contemplated it for two winters now. I wanted to frame in plexi panels to fit the sides of the run to keep the wind/snow out. They would be hung with hooks at the top. Much like old-fashioned storm windows worked. Haven't done it yet as the plexi is so darned expensive and I haven't had much luck finding it second hand in big pieces. I don't want to wrap in plastic and have to remove staples in the spring... I know, I know.

I used corrugated panels like the ones I used for my roof. I used the polycarbonate, but there's no reason why you couldn't use the cheaper plastic ones since side panels aren't going to take as much wear and tear as the ones that go on the roof. Pictures on my BYC page.

I just screwed the panels on in the winter, and unscrewed them for the summer...which it already is here. We hit the 90's twice this last week. Ugh.
