Fifi laid a huge egg today!

Omg i have never seen an egg this big. We had quite a few double tillers in the fall as my pullets started laying but i don’t recall them being this big.

Fifi is a lakeshore egger from Meyer hatchery. She usually lays a nice sized green egg about 85 grams. Today’s egg was 110 grams!! I almost feel bad for her.

Wow that's amazing! I was looking at the Meyer chicks a couple months ago and saw the Lakeshore Egger. What do you think of them? Nice birds? How often do they lay?

Wow that's amazing! I was looking at the Meyer chicks a couple months ago and saw the Lakeshore Egger. What do you think of them? Nice birds? How often do they lay?

They are great! I have posted on here a number of times about them so check my content for lots of stuff! I try to post on anyone’s board who asks about them as we are very happy with her. She last 5-7 eggs a week that range between 70-90 grams. Obviously this on is an outlier! Lol
