Good evening everyone,

I have 8 chicks, 2 of which are bantams. They are about 5 weeks old. Out of the blue today my one bantam chick keeps acting aggresively toward the other bantam (fluttering wings near the others face, randomly pecking at her, chasingher).

Today, I did do some things differently that may be throwing it off. I gutted & cleaned the entire brooder, moving the chicks out into a small box while I cleaned it. For the first time today I also put a tray of sod & grass in the brooder to get them used to the outside environment a bit. I did give them som SavAChick in their water in case they got stressed out after the cleaning. I also mixed a small amount of scrambled eggs in their feed today when I put their food back in, as a treat.

Would any of those things cause my bantam to act out? Normally, the two bantams stick together, cuddling at night etc..

What is your advice? Should I separate him from the group? Or just keep an eye on it?

Thanks! I am at a loss!
