Fighting Drakes...What to do ?

Hi Everyone. I'm not new here, just been away for awhile and had to re-register.
I have a problem right now with my Drakes. Unfortunately I bought 8 more and there are 7 drakes in the bunch. One Hen but I already had four hens so all is well. My problem is they are about 8 months old now and they are picking on the smallest ones all the time. I have the Boys and girls seperated because the boys gang up on the girls so much that I have injured ducks, bald spots on the back of their heads and one of my smallest ducks had enough. I finally seperate them and now I have all the Drakes fighting with eachother and it's getting rediculous. I cannot seperate the drakes from the drakes now and have no option right now but to keep them together. Is this just a hormone thing going on ? Are the Drakes always going to be picking on eachother ? I don't know what to do at this point. Any suggestions ? Thank you in advance.

I feel so sorry for the one Drake who is getting run down by three at a time. I literaly have to go knock them off him...I don't hurt them by no means...just smack them on the butt and tell them to leave that poor duck alone...sheeeshhh !!!

They are the victims of raging testosterone. It's the breeding season and they want some "action." They will continue to attempt to breed the smaller weaker drakes as long as you leave them together. There is the potential for serious damage or the death of the attacked drakes. Seperation, euthanasia, rehoming are the only ways to stop this activity.

I have three very small Drakes who are with the other 5 hens right now. My Hens are Pekins which are very large ducks as you know so the small drakes weigh next to nothing so I don't have very much damage if you will to the pekins. I'm not too worried about them. I have four other Drakes in a seperate pen ( Khaki's and Rouens ) who are large as well. I defenately keep those boys seperated from the girls. How long does matting season last and as far as I can tell, it's all year long LOL......
