Hi. I live in a town of approx. 600 people. our current ordinance does not allow poultry. I have been in correspondence with the town and completing the required steps to get approval. However, here are the main concerns at this moment:

Enforcement of the Code bc we are such a small town. (I have emailed the mayor who is responsible now for other animal ordinance)
Limited Resources and Personnel
Property Values

If anyone has any helpful information of what their town has done that would be helpful. Please keep in mind we are small. Thanks

How about quail? I have heard of people raising quail in a screened in back porch. They lay an egg a day, or you can get meat type quail.
