Final countdown - how long is too long?

So its been a little over 5 hours and hes doing really well. The membrane is moist and see through. He's moving more and hes began to chirp and peep. I know it will be some time yet as the veins are absorbed and recede but I think Ive done the right thing and things are looking good.

He's not out yet. Hes still within the inner membrane with the air cap removed. The veins were still too big to go any further and the instructions said it could take up to 48 hours so Im trying to be patient and keep the humidity up. He seems to be even stronger today. He's peeping more and being more active so Im taking that as a good sign. Im worried he will be deformed if I wait too long but if I go in too soon, his yolk may not be fully absorbed. Its nerve wracking!

HE"S OUT! As of this morning, he was still having trouble and it looked like the veins had receded enough to give him some additional help. I worked very slowly and took breaks to let him warm back up in the incubator, but finally I got him out of his egg and his yolk was nearly fully absorbed. I put very gentle pressure on the tiny amount that was still protruding and pushed it in. He's now laying resting in the incubator and peeping up a storm :)

Ok, I'm getting nervous. As if today, my little guy still can't walk. I know assisted hatches are weaker and take longer to strengthen, but he doesn't open his eyes. I can get him to drink a little vitamin water but it seems he gets tired after a few sips and gives up. He also fails and flips himself over on his back. I'm at a loss but I'm going to keep trying.
