Hello to all you wonderful helpers and advice givers!
I'm so glad I'm finally a member and can be involved with everythinf backyard chickens!

So far I have successfully without a hitch hatched 8 chickens using my incubator. 4 cross rhode islans red x buff sussex, 1 pure buff sussex and 3 Plymouth rock.

Im also in the hatching process of khaki campbell ducklings which is not so straight forward. I haven't lost any so far, however the first 2 have pipped at the wrong end and after 36 - 48 hours after external pip, I've had to help. My first baby Nora is now 2 days old and the absolute love of my life. She has imprinted on me and it is just the most beautiful and special thing!

My 2nd is currently in the incubator with its bottom in a wet paper towel absorbing the remainder of it's yolk. I'm praying for a happy little ducky come morning!

I have 4 more internally pipped eggs in the incubator, this time at the right end of the egg and am excited/anxious to see how they all work out. This leaves 6 others of which I am unsure whether or not they will hatch. Fingers crossed.

Looking forward to chatting with you all and offering advice from my little experience where I can with any hiccups you may come across along the way.

Peace and good vibes x
