When she was smaller, I thought OEGB, but I have no idea.

That stinks that he's a he. My neighbor bought her daughter 2 random chicks at the feed store to raise for a few days, then gave them to us. The other is a barred rock hen, so I was happy about that since I don't have one. I was hoping this was a girl because I really do not need another roo, and he is VERY friendly, my friendliest chicken in fact. He is the only one that runs up to be held all the time. Not that it hurts anything to keep him around I guess, but I don't want him breeding with my silkie bantam as I want her to hatch pb silkies and I free range them during the day.

I'd be careful with him since he's turning male on you. OEGs arn't known for their ability to co-exist with other roosters peacefully. There are occasional exceptions with hatch-mates, but most OEG owners have to carefully house their roosters seperately.
