At 20 weeks and 5 days.....(but who's counting).... pretty sure it was my Rhode Island Red. I saw her standing in the coop doorway. There were no eggs when I was out there an hour ago. Ironically, because of the weather, this is the first day they've been confined to there coop/run. I'm wondering if there isn't a clutch of eggs somewhere out there lol. I just changed bedding, maybe she was waiting lol. Expecting some from the Orpingtons soon and later the Brahmas.

Congratulations! Those first eggs are truly priceless ($700 and up) and very eggciting to find.
