Finally fished my new run

I wouldn't put the apron down until the sides of run are meshed, you want to attach the apron to the mesh walls of run.
The pavers will work good inside the run to keep the birds from digging 'out'.

Probably the best way to do it but couldn't figure out how to maneuver that without help especially on the slight slope. The hardware cloth goes under the pavers and the pavers are basically what the frame is resting on. The run will be fenced with hardware cloth secured with screws and wood strips over that. The skirting extends over 4 feet out on 3 sides, less on one side because there is a raised bed in the way. That's a long ways to tunnel.

Am hoping no critter problems. I also haven't seen any signs of coons in the yard thanks to the dogs and have kept the coop and run away from the back fence. I know my pups won't dig that far.

You might want to put a post in the corners into the ground (pounded into the ground) and then screw the frame to it. If there is nothing holding it down it can be lifted up.
I lived in Conn from 0-8 y/o we had coons and I was in busy town near water. I think they are everywhere. They even have them in the city of Boston

The corners are in. The corner posts are in deck post supports pounded 3 feet into the ground. The bottom boards are attached to the 4 inch square posts with metal brackets, it's not going anywhere. The wall framing is up. The roof framing is going on today and whatever else fits into my day. It will be a hot and humid one. Waiting for things to dry out a bit after rain last night.

I'm paranoid of coons as they did $8000.00 + damage to my house a couple years ago. Coons are everywhere.
