Finally got a reprieve...

from the 99+ degree heat today. My chickens were so happy. I can't wait for the fall. This summer has been so hard on my criiters.

Your birds are absolutely GORGEOUS!

You can tell that they are very well taken care of...

It hit 114 here at my place today.... my AC is still on in the coop because at 10PM it is still 106 degrees out there!

Our coop is an open air coop but I am contemplating closing it in so we can put an actual a/c in there for them. They have 3 fans and their attached run is completely shaded with shade fabric but they are so miserable in the heat. This summer has been ridiculous.
Thanks for the compliment. I love my chickens soooo much.

Your chickens are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! That being said, as beautiful as they are, they are definitely outdone by that incredibly handsome young fellow with the MFD'uccle on his shoulder... What a cutie!

All those beings under your care appear to be happy, healthy, and thriving! Nice job.

Thanks guys. Brady LOVES our chickens. He even helps me candle eggs (when we have some in the bator) and is very good at it!

gold- that little pullet in the middle of the stinkeye pic is a bantam partridge cochin. She is adorable in person.
