That quack when she ran away in the first video was unmistakable. Your lighter baby didn't get loud enough for me to be able to tell. If it's always that quiet, you may have a male.
Yeah, that's the other reason I'd be suspicious of drakedom. LOL But it's not always the case! I've had some darn mean girls, too. Some ducks are just born domineering, it seems. At least if it's a male with no other male competition, you can be fairly certain he'll get more courteous once he's old enough to want certain... ahem, "favors." Even my meanest Pekin shaped up once he realized what girls were for. ROFL

so when they mature they will be OK? because i thought i would need another girl if i had 1 boy 1 girl, i heard the drakek ratio was 1:2 at least... will i need another?
You're better off with a trio from what I hear, but I usually had duos because we lived in town and couldn't have two ducks quacking the neighborhood awake every morning. I never had a problem with a male/female duo.
i love the video of them just sitting on their butts in front of the fence. lol. so funny... I've never seen my ducks sit that way. the darker one is most assuredly a girl based on that quack! when the other one bit her. lol.
