Finally have my ducklings :-)

I messed up the temp in my bator and pretty much ruined my hatch but I finally have 2 very late little call ducklings and we are in love

. One took it's time getting up but it wasn't weak and was eating and drinking. They are both up and running now. Now I need to go figure out what color they are. Here they are at 3 days old.

Congatulations on the hatch, Those two must be very precious.

Incubating really isnt as easy as some make it sound. I have had some very poor hatch rates while trying to tweek my machine. And even still I have some issues. I have just watched a little one struggle for two days after not turning correctly in the egg and pipping from the wrong end.
At least we can all learn from our mistakes- and slowly the hatch rates will rise.
Im sure you will enjoy your time with those two little cuties, and hope for you more success with incubating in the future.
