My chickens love bread too. They'll poke their heads out when they hear the house door open just to see if we have bread. That got them answering to 'Here Chicky Chicky'!

Thanks, everyone. Yes, I had a son and four grandchildren put up the fencing and set the posts. they also put the chicken wire over and around the run. I paid and fed them and they were happy and I was happy not to pound posts..... not even sure I could.

It is 70X40. I just put up two strands of wire for electric fencing yesterday. Now I have just one more wire to put up in case pesky raccoons decide to climb the 6 ft. fence. I hope to do that this week. Many trips up and down the ladder...
