Finally joined!

Hello! I've known about BYC but I finally decided to join. I live on an island called Kauai in Hawaii and we're pretty much known for having wild chickens running around. But since they're so common, unfortunately a lot of people don't think much about them.

I was the same until I started raising baby chicks when they lost their mother and I'm absolutely head over heels in love with them! My current favorite is my white rooster who I named Yogurt.
Unfortunately I do not know what breed he is but I want to guess that he's a white rhode island red??

I didn't consider that he would be part silkie, but now that I think about it he is most definitely a mix. Thank you!
