Hi all!
I've been lurking reading posts and learning a lot since I got 4 chicks back in April. I decided today that it was time to sign up.
We have 4 chickens that are 15 weeks old: A Black Star named Parsley, a Buff Orpington named Sage, a Easter Egger named Rosemary, and a Silver Laced Wyandotte named Thyme.
We're enjoying watching them grow and love to handle them and feed them treats.
I also have a large garden and like sew, sometimes re-purposing old jeans, hence my username: greens and jeans. My etsy site has a few of the things I have for sale, including re-usable produce bags. www.greensandjeans.etsy.com I also keep a blog about the garden, chickens, and craft projects www.greensandjeans.com. You can see pics of my chickens there since I gather I can't post them just yet here.
I'm looking forward to exploring more posts and being a part of this community!
