Hi everyone! My name is Lesa and I am a fairly new transplant to middle TN. Originally from Southern California, I spent the last ten years in Spokane, WA before moving to a suburb of Nashville, TN.
I have had chickens for about 8 years. We recently got six new baby chicks here in TN, all my others were in WA and were passed to my oldest child when I moved. New chicks in a new house and new state of course also meant new coop and all the rest...
. I also have a new husband who has never raised chickens. Together we have three daughters between us at the house. They are 22, 18 and 8 years old and very into the chickens.
We live on an acre just outside the city limits in a wooded area. I am a music journalist, working from home unless I am doing on-camera interviews or events. With COVID-19 there is zero work in my industry so lots of time to chickens and the garden.
