Finally Joining

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Not really, I had chickens as a kid. Now my daughter is into chickens and I work for her.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have two and will probably stay with two.
(3) What breeds do you have?
They are OEGB.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
My daughter introduced me to it.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I think our chickens is my only hobby. I don't consider biking and running a hobby.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Our family used to be four but we are now six with the addition of Lucky and Miracle. They also happened to be our only pets. I'm an electrical engineer. I wrote how we got Lucky and Miracle and the making of their sound box, https://github.com/luckymiracle/sbox/blob/master/Miracle's Box.pdf. I wrote that with BYC in mind and would love to post it as an article. Any help on how to proceed would be appreciated. I also put a video on youtube where I show the sound box,

What is there is a power failure, there would be no ventilation to the box.

For about 3 months there was no fan. The ventilation was passive. The fan came in after installing a gas sensor that showed high levels of ammonia.
