Hello everyone, from southern Tennessee! I'm very excited about getting my first post out there. I'm a 20 year old male, young man, boy, whatever you wanna call it, and have been chicken crazy for as long as I can remember. At the age of around 12, I designed my very own incubator and gave it my first shot at hatching with 5 eggs I believe. Unfortunately, I had only managed a single hatchling, which was a red sex-link. I adored the young chick as it would follow me around everyone. Turns out the sweet little chick grew up to be a roo, and received the name Pete from my grandfather. Ever since this experience I have caught the chick fever and have hatched hundreds of different breeds since then. I currently only have a flock of 5 BB red bantams (1 roo, 4 hens) but look forward to expanding my flock ASAP!! I am very excited about hearing from the BYC community, and look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge with you all. Thanks and God bless.
