In the "Show Me"
Got these 15 Chicks around the 4th of July. Friend of mine got them from the Cackle Hathery and gave them to me as a gift.....
Exotic Bantams I was told, so far I think I see some White Silkies, Black Japanese, a Polish "poofy" Chicken and several feather footed breeds I am not too sure about exactly.

I already had 3 laying hens, so I added onto my Chicken "Condo". My daughters call it the Super Condo now.....
Not bad for about $150, only paid for the chain link and paint; everything else was scraps or give aways.

left to right: black cochin, white crested black polish, buff brahma, brahma or cochin, lakenvelder, white silkie, at least 2 more black cochin, at least 2 more buff brahama's, another white silkie, and the white in the front looks like an oegb (and a cockerel)

i'm currently trying to find scraps and stuff to expand all my runs and coops i haven't had any luck :(

hopefully i gave you an idea on your breeds. i however do not see any japs

Yea, I will have to get better pics tomorrow.
The white one in the front right is actually yellow in color, there are two like this; one is very very small, usually hides under the bigger chicks.
I think they are 6 or 7 weeks now....

I really like how you built your coop and run! Do you want to share your blue prints on how you did it step by step? I would like to build something like yours just for my younger pullets and roo's! Then I would paint mine a greyish blue color with white trim. So again nice coop and run for your cute chickens you have. Nikki

I will look to see when you post pictures of each chicken alone tomorrow. Thank you for posting!!!!!

Well, its been a while so I figured I would snap some shots and show off my flock.....

I lost all 3 of my white Silkies about a month ago, they would not roost and laid on the ground huddled next ot the fence and somthing got em. I shot 2 possum and a Raccoon that week at night and havent lost a Chicken since.

I had 3 Large egg laying hens prior to the Bantams and one of my Bantam fellas sure has taking a liking to them already.

I had the Bantams seperate from the 3 hens till about a week ago when I finally integrated them.

One more pic, the Buff colored hens I think are my favorite after the Polish guy....I hear the Buffs have larger egss than the other Bantams. I am planning on giving several of the Bantams away to Nieghbor kids as gifts but, will keep the Buffs.

As far as blueprints on the houses, they are simpley empty wood shipping crates that I got from the Army base.
Cut doors on them and made tin roof with some milk crates with hay for nesting boxes.
