After a very rocky start and the removal of one broody hen from a shared nest when she pecked and killed a just-hatched chick, we have four tiny fuzzballs currently hiding out under our remaining broody. I'm watching her for any sign of aggression - she seemed a little pecky this morning, but didn't seem to be hurting them - and as long as she doesn't hurt them and seems to be taking good care of them, I will leave them with her.
So glad that a few seemed to have made it out unscathed. Fingers are crossed that things continue to go well.

I've named this little one Eglantine. <3
