I got some pics uploaded last night. So here is a basic idea of what it will look like.
I decided to go with a pole-barn type frame with a wood floor. I wanted cement, but would have taken more than 1/2 my budget. (keeping it under $1,000) The labor is free, of course. My son and my husband are doing all the work and anyone who happens to stop by is lending a hand.
This is the basic plan we are using for inspiration.
Here is an idea of what the outside will look like. A total of 10 windows, 2 higher vents, 4 pop doors, 1 front door and 2 cleanouts.
This is a general layout of the space we are working with. I don't know if you can see it very well. The inside will have 2 pens and a chick brooder area and a work area. All the pens will be able to open into 1 large pen. The run will be enlarged too.
