Finally starting to molt!

Hi Everyone! My pullets are just starting to molt. Is it especially late to start molting, is that abnormal? I'm a bit of a paranoid chicken mom LOL!

Especially on the red hen it looks as a flock mate is feather pecking. Late molts are not uncommon , but I'm not certain that is what you are dealing with.

No male, just 4 hens. about 8 months.

Would be late for a juvenile molt(usually ends at about 6mo),
and way early for an adult molt(usually starts about 14-18mo).

They were born in the spring, could that make a difference in molting as opposed to chicks born in fall, lay in spring, then molt the next fall?
