You have no idea how i've been waiting for the coop construction to begin! I had such a wonderful day that I had to share it with everyone.....
We began by moving this entire struction from it's original location to this more peaceful one that we can see from our living room windows. The base frame was put together using recycled 6x6 landscaping timbers. We put the coop floor on using salvaged 2x4's and OSB board. I decided to give the floor a paint job to help with moisture. But might be adding some stickdown linolium tiles on top of that, since the cost is much cheaper than a solid piece of linolium.
Here is my DH framing the front wall of the coop. The back wall is standing. It's taking some shape.
We have three framed walls up now. Had to quit earlier than we wanted, my DH had to go to work. More pictures to come when we get more work done.
