Hello BCY Members! My wife and I have been BYC browsers for a few years now, but finally got to a point where we needed expert BYC member advice and wanted to post for feedback... Thus the creation of our member account.

We live in Southern Maryland and started raising chickens as a hobby getting our first two "red-sex links" (later learning they're also called Golden Buffs amongst a few other names) from the Amish right up the road. It was less work than managing our dogs so we decided to grow our flock. I'll save you the banter and share with a few photos how our flock has grown over the last three years...






Its great to be apart of the BYC community! Looking forward to seeing you all around the forum!

Welcome to Backyard chickens, you have a very lovely flock. If you put "Maryland thread." in the search box, it should pop them. You can post there and see if you have any fellow chickeners in your area.
