FINALLY!! **UPDATE**

Our first blue/green eggs! Miss Igor decided to lay the first one at the top this morning and two more of my EE’s followed suit this afternoon.

Yay!!

UPDATE:
Went outside to feed the dogs and found this little stinker in their kennel in the pine shavings!

I’m cackling like a crazy hen over here! I was expecting one, MAYBE two colored eggs the first time....but FOUR??!
Lol! I honestly have no idea if this one was layer yesterday or today...could have been the day before that. It’s been cool enough that it’s nicely refrigerated.

I tell you what, I'm a veteran and retired police officer and the one thing that still brings out that young boy grin at Christmas is a truly perfect gift of the first egg. Their simple perfection in the art to me. I hope I never lose that feeling.

I really dislike city life in va! I lived 15 minutes from work but my commute was over an hour because of tunnel traffic! I live in a rural part of Virginia now and I'm really happy here. Not 1 stoplight in my town!

I was at Langley AFB for 13 years and just completely hated that entire city area. If I ever move back I think I'll go the route 17? Heading towards the DC area or very west of Richmond. People were just great in those areas.

Yeah I'm about an hour and a half from Richmond. Very close to Farmville. It's peaceful out here. langley will drive anyone away it's 3x as chaotic now
